Location: Birmingham, AL (Onsite)
Our client, a leading manufacturing and distribution company based in Birmingham, is looking for an FP&A Associate to join the team. In this role, you will support executives by consolidating financial budgets, optimizing resources, enhancing forecasts, and delivering insights for business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze and interpret financial and operational data across Business Units, delivering meaningful insights on trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Perform detailed reviews of monthly financial performance, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow results, comparing budgets to actuals, forecasts and prior year performance.
- Prepare executive level reporting packages, presentations, and board support materials.
- Evaluate financial data to uncover trends, patterns and opportunities that drive profitability improvements and cost optimization initiatives.
- Leverage FP&A and business intelligence tools to enhance reporting automation and analytical capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Accounting Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Power BI, Tableau, Oracle or similar experience.
