Senior Associate – Operational Risk
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)
Salary: $90,000–$130,000 Bonus
Our client is seeking a Senior Associate – Operational Risk to support the development and execution of the firm's operational risk program. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and monitor operational risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct operational risk assessments and monitor key risk indicators.
- Support the firm's operational risk framework and risk appetite initiatives.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Assist with regulatory compliance and operational resilience efforts.
- Utilize and maintain operational risk management systems.
- Collaborate on cross-functional risk projects and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3 years of operational risk experience, preferably within asset management or banking.
- Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks and governance.
- Familiarity with operational resilience and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with Wolters Kluwer OneSumX or similar operational risk management systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
