Senior Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze accurate financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant standards.
  • Assist with month end close by preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Prepare inter-company reconciliations
  • Help identify, recommend, and implement enhancements to accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies to maintain financial integrity.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions and enhance financial performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience with a strong emphasis on financial reporting and systems improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience in intracompany transfers reconciliation and financial systems optimization.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAGE, QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
