Job Title: Plant Controller - Contract to hire
Location: Noblesville, IN with partial remote flexibility
Hours: Full-time, some travel to southern IN and Rockwood, TN
Pay: Up to $75 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily management and oversight of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll processes.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including detailed borrowing base build-outs and consolidation tasks.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and coordinate bank reporting requirements for asset-based lending.
- Drive the integration and optimization of shared service functions and lead corporate accounting efforts in a multi-site environment.
- Facilitate a seamless transition and knowledge transfer from the outgoing director, ensuring continuity and minimal disruption to financial operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Corporate Controller or similar role, ideally within a private equity or manufacturing setting.
- Strong technical accounting skills and experience with financial consolidation and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems like Global Shop, QAD, and Made2Manage; familiarity with Prophix is a plus.
- Effective communicator with experience managing teams in both virtual and on-site settings.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with a hands-on approach.
