A Westside financial services firm is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. In this newly created role, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for accounting reconciliations, some invoicing, and supporting month-end close and the general ledger. What do you need for this Staff Accountant role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel
- Familiarity with an ERP would be helpful
- Assist with preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting month-end close
- Maintain and update financial records while ensuring their accuracy and compliance
- Assist the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Monitor AR and follow up on outstanding payments
- Assist with variance analysis
- Assist with annual audit
- Organic growth by acquisition
