Vaco Boston is currently partnered with a leading Manufacturing company in the Nashua, NH area. Currently, we are seeking a proven Sr. Accountant/Accounting Manager to support the finance team onsite. Responsibilities:
• Assists the Controller with deliverables and deadlines as needed
• Supports annual standard cost process
• Assists with calculating and reporting cycle count metrics and related reconciliations
• Completes all monthly reports on a timely basis with zero defects
• Reviews transactions to insure proper impact on perpetual and G/L records
• Reviews variances to determine cause
• Proactively seeks out ways to improve processes and accuracy and drive efficiency
• Monitor processes and controls relating to inventory transactions and reporting failures and areas for improvement
• Performs the monthly accounting close process, balance sheet reconciliations and journal entry postings
• Support sites payroll process
• Other adhoc requests/analysis/projects
Basic Qualifications:
• Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred
• Exceptional analytical skills
• 1 to 2 Years in Manufacturing Finance with direct costing accounting experience a must
• Strong PC skills (Excel, Access, Power-Point) required
• Proven ability to manage multiple critical projects in a fast paced environment
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization
