Job Summary - Vaco is currently working with a growing construction company and they have an opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist to handle invoice processing, check runs, and credit card processing. The ideal candidate should come out of construction or real estate. Company is offering healthy benefits and opportunity for learning.
Duties -
- Responsible for entering invoices
- Cutting checks for various companies within the organization
- Following up with vendors and those within the company on invoice status
- Responsible for our Credit card process.
- GL coding
- Opening mail and organizing invoices
Essentials -
- 3 years of experience in accounts payable
- Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred
- Experience with check runs and invoice processing
- Excellent communications
- Past experience with Sage Timberline is a huge plus but other ERP skills are also accepted
- Must be proficient with MS Excel
