Production Control Clerk POST NUMBER: 424009
- OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES: Compiles and records production data to prepare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of raw material, quality control, and other aspects of production by performing the following duties.
- MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Revises schedule according to work order specifications, establishes priorities, and availability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment.
- Confers with department supervisors to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes in processing methods received from engineering departments.
- Compiles and records production data from such documents as customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets.
- Writes production reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed.
- Sort and distributes work orders to supervisors.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- GED or High Scholl degree or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to solve day-to-day problems through effective communication and interpretation.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience

- REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- General knowledge of accounting and understanding of the general ledger accounts and how they relate to invoices and credits.
- Have a basic knowledge of accounting software applications
some of the pointers for the position.
- High data entry and MS Excel normal test score
- Mon-Fri 7:30 – 4:00PM ( available for OT if necessary) or 8-5 (30 minute lunch)
- Capable of walking the production floor on a continuous basis and taking the lead on projects with leadership in the department
- Good (Great) communication skills
- Attentive to detail
- Adaptability to change based on production needs.
- Adaptable to a high paced environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
