Our client is a global technology company. They are looking for a Senior Tax Manager who will be responsible for income tax, transfer pricing, and indirect tax compliance and provision responsibilities.

About the Opportunity
- Provides support for global tax planning and M&A initiatives.
- Manages worldwide tax compliance (including review of tax returns).
- Responsible for Canadian income tax compliance, including Canadian corporate income tax returns and other information returns (e.g. T106, T1134, T5013, etc.).
- Preparation of quarterly/annual tax provision, and other tax reporting requirements (e.g. consolidation, note disclosures, memos, etc).
- Research and interpret changing tax legislation and related income tax regulations, rules and case law, identify tax issues and opportunities for tax minimization and advise on their implications.
- Ensure new developments in tax are conveyed to the appropriate internal stakeholders and that processes are developed to ensure the company is in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Review transfer pricing analyses and computations, country-by-country reporting and transfer pricing reports.
- Manage communications and audits with internal/external/government auditors.
- Provide support to other cross functional areas and/or senior management on tax related queries.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience. Accounting designation or MBA preferred
- CPA designation with completion of CPA In-Depth I & II, or Master of Taxation
Salary Range
$140,000 - $150,000/year
