Title: Strategy Consulting Manager – Telecommunications, Media & Technology (TMT)
Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $220,000 Base Bonus

We are partnering with a premier global strategy consulting firm that specializes in the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (TMT) sectors. The firm advises corporate executives and private equity investors on growth strategy, commercial due diligence, market entry, and operational performance. Operating with a low-travel delivery model, a collaborative culture, and flat team structures, the organization offers accelerated merit-based career progression alongside flexible work options.
The Role:
The Manager is a senior-level leader who owns project execution, manages multi-disciplinary teams of consultants and analysts, serves as the primary client contact, and plays a key role in firm development and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project & Workstream Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations across project workstreams, including market sizing, business model development, quantitative modeling, survey design, and go-to-market strategies.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for client executives; develop project storylines and deliver high-impact presentations and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Team Management & Coaching: Direct, delegate to, and mentor teams of Analysts and Consultants; conduct quality assurance on quantitative models and qualitative findings.
- Firm Building: Support business development efforts through domain expertise and participate in recruiting, DE&I initiatives, and mentorship programs.
Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree required.
- Progressive strategy consulting experience with a focus on TMT, private equity, or commercial growth strategy.
- Proven ability to build original quantitative/analytical frameworks, translate complex analysis into executive narratives, and lead high-performing teams.
