Position Summary: Seeking a Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for key accounting functions, including month-end close, GAAP compliance, internal control review, reconciliations, SOX compliance, journal entries, financial reporting, and driving process improvements. You will also engage in ad hoc analysis to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end close process and ensure GAAP compliance.
- Conduct internal control reviews and maintain effective control processes.
- Perform reconciliations and prepare journal entries.
- Ensure SOX compliance and support financial reporting activities.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed to support business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master's degree preferred).
- CPA or CPA track required.
- Experience in a large public accounting firm (audit).
- Familiarity with publicly traded companies, either as clients or internally.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles.
- Experience working with large organizations or clients.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A strong desire for future career growth and advancement.
- Demonstrated track record of job stability and continual career progression.
