Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Income Statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage financial consolidations across multiple entities, supporting timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Perform detailed data analysis using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) to generate insights and drive decision-making.
- Utilize ERP software to manage accounting processes, including financial entries, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, demonstrating agility and the ability to switch between tasks efficiently.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment with a focus on productivity and collaboration to meet tight deadlines.
- Real Estate Accounting Experience: Prior experience in real estate accounting, with a preference for multi-family property accounting.
- Financial Review & Consolidation: Strong background in reviewing financial statements and handling complex consolidations.
- Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other Excel functions for in-depth data analysis.
- ERP System Experience: Previous experience with ERP software for accounting processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, a positive attitude, multitasking ability, and agility in handling changing priorities.
- Property Management Software: Familiarity with RealPage or similar property management accounting software.
- Multi-Family Real Estate Experience: Direct experience in multi-family property accounting is highly valued.
