Software Engineer (Python) POST NUMBER: 431031
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Python to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, experience in developing robust applications, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based software applications and APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define and implement innovative solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices for software development.
- Debug and resolve software issues, performing root-cause analysis to ensure system reliability.
- Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to design and optimize data models and queries.
- Contribute to code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines to enhance development efficiency and deployment reliability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and Python advancements to bring innovative ideas to the team.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of professional software development experience with Python.
- Proficiency in frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience in writing unit tests and using testing frameworks such as pytest.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not required.
