We are seeking a Payroll Accountant who is passionate, ambitious, and eager to grow within the organization. This is a hands-on role with significant visibility, offering the opportunity to directly impact the company’s operations. You’ll handle payroll processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.

- Process payroll for employees across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness on a bi-weekly basis
- Maintain payroll records and prepare reports for management and audits.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Treasury and others to address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with international, federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Assist in reconciling payroll accounts and supporting month-end close processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll operations.
- Stay updated on industry and regulatory changes affecting payroll policies.
- Experience: 1-5 years of payroll or accounting experience (energy industry experience is a plus).
- Skills: Strong knowledge of payroll systems and Excel; familiarity with accounting principles.
- Personality: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Mindset: Driven, hungry, and ambitious, with a desire to grow personally and professionally.
- Work Style: Independent and resourceful, able to manage responsibilities without micromanagement. Able to handle multiple jobs
