Job Description:
We are looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper with expertise in QuickBooks Online to manage the day-to-day accounting operations for our client. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, including all accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Process payroll and ensure tax compliance.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
- Record and categorize all financial transactions accurately.
- Ensure timely filing of taxes and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Work with external auditors during audit preparations and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve any accounting issues.
- Support management with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in a financial services environment.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with payroll processing and tax filings.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred but not required.
