Accounts Receivable Supervisor POST NUMBER: 432602
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead our client's financial collections team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, advanced financial acumen, and the ability to optimize AR processes while maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of Accounts Receivable specialists
- Develop and implement AR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Oversee daily AR operations and ensure team productivity and efficiency
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and professional development
- Monitor team performance metrics and develop strategies for improvement
- Manage complex customer accounts and escalated collection issues
- Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reporting for senior management
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance departments to streamline billing processes
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers regarding payment processes
- Implement and manage credit control strategies
- Optimize cash flow and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO)
- Manage electronic payment systems and banking reconciliations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable
- Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Proven track record of team leadership and process improvement
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting capabilities
