Accounts Payable Specialist POST NUMBER: 432883
Overview:
- Complete new vendor applications/Set up in accounting software (Vista).
- Maintain vendor W9 & 1099 compliance.
- Maintain accurate record keeping (attachments) in VP for all vendor transactions. Invoice copies, etc.
- Adhere to Corporate PO System and work with Purchasing Dept to enforce throughout organization.
- Reconcile company credit cards.
- Maintain accurate record keeping for all vendor agreements/files.
- Process employee expense report, while ensuring company compliance requirements
- Vendor payment processing
- Account reconciliations and statement monitoring.
- Ensure payment credits are applied correctly.
- Correspond with vendors regarding billing and payments.
- Analyze accounts.
- Prepare reports.
- Ability to process approx. 150 invoices per week.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Construction experience is required
- Minimum of 3 years full cycle accounts payable
- Ability to process high volume invoices
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- High attention to detail
