Role Overview
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leading projects for the Finance applications group in the EBS functional areas of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, and Accounts Receivable/Credit
- Overseeing continued enhancements, support, and further adoption of assigned EBS modules
- Directing others in supporting the existing on-premises systems and technologies.
- Participating as an internal consultant to our clients’ businesses and various customer groups.
Key Objectives:
- Become the client’s first point of contact in IT for the EBS applications/functionality that you are assigned.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the business processes in area(s) of assignment; participate in, and learn how to perform, the analysis of the customer's processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the reactionary support and/or preventive maintenance process for the systems or technologies in assigned area(s) of responsibility. Identify, establish, and support value-added cross-functional data and system linkages.
- Work closely with customers to develop and maintain a roadmap for future upgrades within the EBS financial applications. Plan for and successfully implement these solutions.
- Operate within the IS standards and conventions and applicable BU/RU IT standards. Ensure appropriate methodologies, support processes, and procedures are followed.
- Comply with all guidelines detailed in the audit/compliance tool (with a specific focus on business partnerships, change control, disaster recovery, and security) for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Operate within an offshore model that provides development and/or support solutions in the assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Pursue continuous learning consistent with the movement in job requirements, changes in technology, and changes in the organization.
- Lead the discovery, planning, and implementation of process improvements in individual tasks and within the work team.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related subject from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of practical Information Technology experience, including Oracle EBS R12 application experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ project management experience in leading several small to large projects, demonstrating a solid understanding of project management processes, methodologies, and techniques.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Qualified candidate must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3),or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the relevant government agency. Business demands may require employer to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology

- Knowledge of governance and change management procedures in an IT environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively is a key success factor.
