AP Manager: T&E Expense Implementation POST NUMBER: 442569
Our client, a fast-growing company in the financial technology space, is seeking an Interim AP Manager for a 6-8 week contract role. This position will focus on the implementation of a new Travel & Expense (T&E) platform, either Ramp or Brex, while working remotely. The successful candidate will play a key role in setting up and optimizing the T&E system, improving policies, and training employees. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere, with a dynamic, fast-paced environment that offers hands-on experience in a critical project.
· Lead the implementation of Ramp or Brex, ensuring smooth integration with existing financial systems.
· Develop and enforce T&E policies to improve expense management and compliance.
· Onboard and train employees on the new T&E platform, providing guidance and troubleshooting support.
· Partner with finance and accounting teams to ensure seamless expense tracking, approvals, and reporting.
· Identify process improvements to optimize expense workflows and reconciliation.
· Experience in T&E administration or AP, with a strong background in expense management systems.
· Hands-on experience with Ramp or Brex (implementation experience preferred).
· Ability to set up, configure, and manage T&E platforms, including user permissions and policy settings.
· Strong understanding of expense reporting, reconciliation, and compliance best practices.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $60 - $70 per hour.
