Accounts Payable Coordinator POST NUMBER: 440560
- Lead the Accounts Payable function by accurately uploading invoices in Yardi (PayScan), ensuring proper approval, coding, and supporting documentation is complete, including utility bills and property taxes
- Match invoices to purchase orders and distribute internally for approval, either manually or via Yardi PayScan
- Process payment runs through Yardi BillPay (EFT) at regular intervals, adhering to payment terms and taking advantage of available discounts
- Post pre-authorized payments in Yardi and set up new utility accounts as needed
- Ensure timely payments to trades, vendors, municipalities in accordance with payment deadlines
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting filing systems (both hard copy and electronic)
- Provide administrative support for office and accounting activities, including cheque deposits, mail organization, network file maintenance
- Act as the point of contact for vendors regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies, and issues, and resolve them efficiently
- Perform reconciliations of accounts payable, vendor statements, and other financial documents to ensure that all records are accurate and up-to-date
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounts payable processes, increasing efficiency and accuracy
About You
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and driven to delivering timely results without the need for ongoing direction and supervision focus on providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the real estate industry
- Experience with Yardi Voyager, Elevate, PayScan and BillPay highly preferred
Salary Range
$55,000 - $65,000/year
