About the Company
Our client is a leading technology provider to businesses, government agencies and consumers across the region looking to hire a Software Product Manager (SaaS) for a full time hybrid (1 day in office) position.
About the Opportunity

This person will work on a large project launch - rebuilding/refactoring and launching a large consumer-facing application platform
-
This is a brand new build in .NET and Azure, third party vendor doing most of the development work.

We are looking for a senior Product Manager who has launched new products, led (formally or informally) small teams, and managed collaboration between various internal and external teams and stakeholders to launch and continue to evolve a software product.

This role will formally manage one person (Product Owner) but will have influence over more people/teams.
About You
-
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering and Business Administration,
-
Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager for commercial cloud/SaaS software products.

Experience with NEW launches of software products
-
Experience working in smaller SaaS software companies with commercial cloud software product (less structured/mature environments)

Understanding of Agile/Scrum, UI/UX, UAT/QA, market research, software architecture/development/deployment/maintenance processes, etc
-
Experience eliciting/documenting user stories and technical requirements, use cases, release notes, training manuals, measuring KPIs for improvement and iteration of product

Very good client-facing communication skills

Ability to commute to Mississauga office 1 day per week
NICE-TO-HAVE:

Experience modernizing legacy software products to next generation

Experience working on Point of Sale POS systems would be an asset.

Agile certifications (CSPO, PSPO, CSM)
Salary Range
$145,000/year
