Lease Accounting Administrator POST NUMBER: 444923
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a minimum of 4 years of accounting or lease-related experience required

Additional 2 years of accounting or lease experience required (total of 6 years without a degree)

Prior experience with lease-related functions preferred (e.g., lease abstracting, rent payments, lease administration, or lease analysis)
Strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze lease agreements
Responsibilities:

Process monthly rent payments using Lucernex and Microsoft Dynamics
-
Reconcile monthly rent charges with the General Ledger system
-
Collaborate with accounting team members to ensure timely issuance of checks and ACH payments
-
Update base rent amounts, additional rent charges, and payee information on a monthly basis
-
Prepare ad hoc reimbursement payments as needed
-
Calculate CPI increases, apply CAM caps, and perform lease-related reconciliations

Monitor and ensure timely payment of real property taxes

Track and reconcile security deposit balances

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to verify accuracy of critical lease dates

Ensure all required documentation is collected, complete, accurate, and properly filed

Set up rent payments in alignment with lease terms and conditions

Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payees, rent amounts, and lease details

Conduct research and compile audit support documentation for time-sensitive requests

Manage W-9 tracking and assist with 1099 preparation and reporting

Provide guidance and support to team members on lease-related inquiries

Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned
