IT Support Specialist
This position delivers outstanding IT and end-user technology support, consistently aiming to exceed user expectations while aligning with broader organizational goals. Serving as a visible and dependable point of contact, the IT Support Specialist ensures responsive and high-quality service across multiple locations and timeframes—including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Security & Compliance:

Operate within established protocols to uphold strict security and compliance standards.
Customer Support:
-
Provide effective, user-friendly IT support to meet and exceed customer satisfaction goals.

Simplify complex technical issues for non-technical users and help them navigate standard systems and environments.
Device Setup & Troubleshooting:
-
Configure and deploy a range of devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, etc.) in accordance with enterprise and security standards.

Support specialized systems such as patient entertainment units, medication carts, and AV tools.
Ticketing & Inventory:
-
Track and manage IT equipment inventory.
-
Monitor support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and escalating when needed, with clear and detailed documentation.
Service Excellence:

Triage and resolve IT support requests in alignment with service level agreements (SLAs).

Offer support for healthcare-specific technologies, including electronic medical records systems.
Team Collaboration & Communication:
-
Partner with various departments to provide cohesive and reliable IT support.

Build strong relationships across the organization through professional communication and dependable service.
Qualifications:
-
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
-
Certification: HDI Desktop Support Tech certification required within 180 days of hire.

Experience: At least 1 year of customer support or help desk experience.

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows environments.

Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Other Requirements:
-
Reliable transportation is essential for travel between sites and equipment delivery.

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly and work in varied physical settings.
