Senior Financial Analyst - 3 months POST NUMBER: 445260
About the Opportunity
- Analyze customer contracts and sales agreements to determine proper revenue recognition treatment in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reconciliations and journal entries.
- Collaborate with billing, sales operations, and FP&A teams to validate revenue data and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities, including revenue accruals, deferrals, and reporting schedules.
- Support external audit requests related to revenue and receivables.
- Participate in system implementations and process improvements related to revenue accounting and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and SOX requirements where applicable.
- Provide analysis and commentary on revenue trends, variances, and key business drivers.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2 years of accounting or financial analysis experience; public accounting or revenue accounting experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of IFRS 15
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
Pay Rate
$37/Hour
