About the Company?
Our client is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their team. This role is an operational role that will be responsible for supporting audit planning, scoping, fieldwork and testing at the branch levels.
This role will also perform detailed risk and control assessments of areas under audit consideration and develop and execute audit programs and procedures to effectively address the risks, controls, and governance issues.

About the Opportunity?

Define the audit scope and objectives to ensure alignment with the organization’s ethics, core values, and strategic goals.

Lead and execute end-to-end audit engagements, including planning, scoping, fieldwork, testing, and delivering clear, high-quality audit reports—both written and verbal.

Conduct comprehensive risk and control assessments for areas under audit consideration.

Design and implement audit procedures and programs that effectively address identified risks, controls, and governance issues.

Analyze complex issues, propose practical solutions, and deliver value-added recommendations.

Monitor the implementation of audit findings and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Prepare and present audit findings to appropriate audiences, including Executive and Senior Management.

Conduct or support research and analysis related to technical standards and industry best practices.

Collaborate with external consultants on designated audit assignments.

Participate in special projects as needed.

Advocate for and enhance the visibility and impact of the Internal Audit function across the organization.
About You?

University degree/ college diploma in applicable field or equivalent work experience
-
3-5 years of relevant internal audit experience
-
Able to work in both Canada and the United States.

Excellent communication and presentation skills
-
Strong organizational, project management and teamwork skills
-
Strong business partnering skills
-
Ability to work independently.

Completed CPA or CIA are considered an asaet
Salary Range?
$90,000 - $100,000/year?
