ACH Process Analyst POST NUMBER: 446870
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct periodic audits and assessments to verify compliance with NACHA Operating Rules.
- Evaluate ACH processes and procedures, including origination, receipt, returns, and reversals.
- Review contracts, risk management controls, and due diligence documentation for third-party senders and originators.
- Analyze ACH file formats, transaction data, and security protocols.
- Document audit findings, identify process gaps, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with operations, IT, and legal departments to enhance ACH compliance frameworks.
- Stay informed of NACHA updates, rule changes, and industry best practices.
- Assist in responding to external audits or regulatory examinations related to ACH compliance.
- Support training and education initiatives for internal teams and third-party partners
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in ACH operations, banking compliance, or financial auditing.
- Deep understanding of NACHA Operating Rules and ACH payment systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Experience with audit methodologies, risk assessment, and control evaluation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation.
- Familiarity with banking regulations (e.g., Reg E, BSA/AML, OFAC).
- Prior experience with fintech platforms or third-party ACH processors.
- Proficiency in audit management software and payment processing systems.
