Responsibilities:
***Must have experience with financial statement prep
Senior Accountant:
- Prepare journal entries, analysis and account reconciliations.
- Help maintain, improve and participate in the month-end close process by completing analysis and preparing journal entries such as accruals and deferrals.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Perform in-depth variance analysis for revenue and operating expenses.
- Prepare operational and ad hoc reporting for additional analysis for additional analysis associated with financial statement areas assigned.
- Assist in preparing and consolidating financial reporting and analysis for P&L and balance sheet.
- Intercompany reconciliation.
- Assists with year-end budgeting and planning.
- Assists with related special projects as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting
- Strong accounting skills and working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel with experience using V Lookups Formulas, and Pivot Tables.
- Proficient in Accounting and Financial systems
