Responsibilities:
- Preparation/review of monthly and annual financial statements for affiliated operating entities including a monthly analysis package of KPI's and other reports to inform team leaders and others about financial results.
- Preparation of financial reporting for business units, divisions, and functional areas.
- Ensure all transactions having a financial impact are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develop and implement effective internal controls that are operative in order to ensure the reliability of the financial reporting system.
- Assist in the maintenance and development of efficient business practices, policies, and procedures used in the ERP environment
- Special projects as assigned supporting various areas of the company (not limited to): procure to pay process evaluation/improvement recommendations, documenting, forecast vs actual savings/costs analysis, contract compliance, etc.
- Must have prior experience in a construction environment handling job costing, percentage of completion method, variance analysis, and information and process flow.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- C.P.A. is preferred
- 10 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Experience managing accountants and the accounting and finance process.
- Experience in both the private and public accounting sectors is preferred, but not required.
