Job Description:
A confidential and reputable organization is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Cash Reconciliation Specialist to join its finance team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and smooth coordination with internal departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of integrity, attention to detail, and a strong aptitude for financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the cash batch setup process and ensure alignment with the treasury function.

Prepare and distribute the Daily Bank Report to internal business centers.

Download, process, and upload remit files into the organization’s accounting systems.

Transfer coding from business centers to the master bank report, ensuring readiness for automation.

Set up and balance cash batches both manually and via automated systems.

Investigate and resolve cash discrepancies to ensure all deposits are accounted for by month-end.

Maintain comprehensive and accurate reconciliation reports.

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cash reconciliations to confirm the accuracy of all financial transactions.

Address and resolve cash-related inquiries promptly and professionally.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve payment issues.

Deliver outstanding internal customer service to business partners.

Achieve productivity and quality benchmarks established by the organization.

Assist in onboarding and training new team members, providing continued support.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the department’s goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Strong numerical skills and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
