

Human Resources Generalist POST NUMBER: 448123
The Human Resources Generalist is a supervisory position that will lead HR operations with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, talent and development, benefits administration/compensation, and compliance. This highly visible role is responsible for executing core HR functions and partnering closely with executive leadership and department managers to support business goals and foster a positive, high-performance workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily HR operations and supervise HR Assistant
- Maintain and configure timekeeping and PTO tracking systems
- Lead full-cycle recruitment: posting, screening, assessments, interviews, and offers
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and training programs
- Oversee biweekly payroll process and serve as payroll backup
- Support benefits enrollment, wellness initiatives, and 401(k) plan administration
- Facilitate performance review cycles and employee recognition programs
- Partner with leadership on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and investigations
- Represent the company at job fairs and build partnerships with local institutions
- Maintain accurate and compliant HR records, including FMLA, OSHA, and WC logs
- Support safety programs and regulatory compliance (OSHA, FDA, ISO)
- Handle offboarding, exit interviews, and separation documentation
- Prepare HR reports and communications; respond to audits and external requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
- 5 years of HR generalist or HR management experience
- Experience in recruiting, employee relations, training and development, and benefits/compensation
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (UKG strongly preferred)
- UKG Workforce Management experience a plus
- Experience with performance management tools (e.g., Quantum Workplace aka WorkDove)
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
