About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll for our growing team. This role ensures accurate and timely compensation, handles payroll taxes and deductions, and supports compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Process biweekly or semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees

Review and verify timesheets, deductions, and benefit withholdings

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
-
Maintain payroll records and resolve payroll discrepancies

Prepare payroll reports for finance and HR teams
-
Handle wage garnishments, bonuses, commissions, and special payroll requests
-
Collaborate with HR and Accounting on employee changes and payroll adjustments

Assist with year-end tax filings, W-2s, and other related reporting
Qualifications:

2 years of payroll experience

Strong knowledge of payroll processes, taxes, and labor laws

Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Paycom, UKG, or similar)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry
-
Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information

Strong organizational and time-management skills
-
CPP or FPC certification a plus, but not required
