Company Overview:
We are a growing dealership group representing multiple brands and expanding rapidly across Florida. As we continue to scale, we are seeking a Controller / Operations Manager to lead daily operations and financial oversight of Florida dealership and help standardize practices across future locations.

Role Summary:
As the Controller / Operations Manager, you will oversee the financial and operational performance of the dealership — including accounting, service, purchasing, warehouse, and sales. You’ll work closely with leadership in New Jersey to align financial reporting and streamline procedures across locations. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong understanding of accounting principles and a passion for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations across accounting, service, purchasing, warehouse, and sales departments

Develop, implement, and maintain standardized systems and operational processes

Collaborate with the Accounting Manager (based in NJ) to deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reporting

Streamline and enhance accounting practices for the Florida dealership

Provide strategic leadership to department managers and frontline staff

Play a key role in shaping operations at new dealership locations as the company expands

Monitor and support performance across departments to ensure alignment with corporate goals
Qualifications:

Strong understanding of accounting principles (debits, credits, reconciliations, reporting)

Proven leadership experience in operations and team management

Service industry experience (e.g., dealerships, repair shops, B2C services) is a strong plus

No specific ERP system required — we will train the right candidate; must be tech-savvy and adaptable

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
