Accounts Receivable Clerk POST NUMBER: 451332
- This role will oversee a variety of aspects of our incoming payments, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, payment collection, and reconciliation of accounts. Day to day you will also contribute to general finance and clerical duties along with troubleshooting. Your primary responsibility will be in Accounts Receivable; with a focus on keeping our customer accounts current. Our business excels at communication, so you must be comfortable reaching out and speaking to clients and customers by both phone and email. If you are more comfortable on keyboard than a phone this will not be the right role for you.
About You
- Exceptional attention to detail. This is your most important quality; you catch errors and discrepancies…better yet, you find them before they become mistakes!
- You have sound judgement, you can find discrepancies and catch anything problematic, making sure that work is done correctly (the first time) is essential.
- You have strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude; this is a cross-functional role that deals with all our teams, but especially our Solutions (operations team) on a day-to-day basis. Understanding their requirements and delivering against them are key.
- You bring 1-2 years of experience and have honed good practices, but you are ready to dive in and take on more responsibility. (This could be gained from work experience and/or Co-op placements.)
- Our business is very fast moving, and our team is responsive and readily adapts to new challenges. You are adaptable but a sharp study who can thrive in a culture of change but applies their learnings and experience as we grow.
