Vaco has partnered with a leading, high-end landscaping company that is in search of a Business Operations & Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting functions and help drive operational excellence. Job Title: Business Operations & Accounting Manager (title flexible)
Location: North Phoenix (Happy Valley area), 100% onsite
Compensation: targeting range of $85k - $100k
Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations: AP, AR, month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations

Support field operations and office staff with process questions and problem-solving

Provide guidance and oversight to local AP/office assistant

Collaborate with leadership on revenue forecasting for projects, contracts, and enhancements

Maintain and manage maintenance contracts and vendor relationships

Build and maintain advanced Excel-based reporting and analysis tools
-
Support special projects and future accounting system integrations/migrations
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required, CPA preferred

Strong QuickBooks and Excel expertise
-
Strong knowledge of GAAP financial statement requirements

Self-motivated leader with excellent customer service skills
-
Experience in landscaping, construction, or other service-based industries preferred

Ability to work onsite at the North Phoenix office
