Title: Accounting Manager – Technical Accounting

Compensation: $110,000 - $135,000 DOE bonus RSUs
Overview:
A leading global technology company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its Corporate Accounting and Reporting team. This role plays a key role in SEC reporting and advising on complex accounting matters across the organization. The ideal candidate is a CPA with a strong foundation in technical accounting, public accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional), and a background working in large, publicly traded tech companies.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation and review of quarterly, annual, and other financial filings with the SEC.

Collaborate with business units and corporate teams to assess and document accounting treatment for complex and non-routine transactions.

Manage technical accounting projects related to acquisitions, dispositions, new accounting guidance, and other initiatives.

Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and evolving regulatory standards.

Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Qualifications:

CPA required.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

6 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including both public accounting (Big 4 or large regional firm) and in-house roles at large public companies.

Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting and SEC reporting, including documentation and policy development.

Experience in the technology industry.

Familiarity with accounting systems and reporting tools such as Oracle, HFM, WDesk, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Exposure to XBRL tagging and SEC filing systems.

Proven ability to work within a large, matrixed organization.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to translate complex accounting topics to varied audiences.

Independent, resourceful, and highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Capable of balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
