Accounting Manager
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team while supporting organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee all day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.

Develop and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and best practices to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Collaborate with senior leadership on financial planning and strategic initiatives.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies as needed.

Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff to support professional growth and team performance.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within accounting functions.

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
