Key Responsibilities

Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and sub-ledger accounts; prepare adjusting journal entries.

Prepare monthly financial statements and perform monthly bank reconciliations for all cash, savings, and investment accounts.

Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules.

Identify capitalizable purchases, assign asset numbers, calculate depreciation and amortization.

Ensure compliance with asset capitalization and disposal policies.

Process journal entries for assigned areas during monthly close.

Ensure proper recording of capital projects and balance sheet items.
-
Review Accounts Payable and purchasing transactions for compliance with internal policies.

Assist in annual audit preparation, including schedules and documentation and respond to audit requests.
Qualifications -
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

Experience with reconciliations, fixed asset management, and financial reporting.

Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
