Senior Finance Manager
Our client, a leading global software company specializing in cloud-based financial products, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join their finance team. This role will play a key part in supporting the Marketing Organization by providing strategic financial leadership and insights that drive business growth. The position is hybrid, located in Mountain View, CA, and offers access to a beautiful campus with various employee amenities. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 financial analysts, fostering a high-performance culture within the Finance organization.
- Collaborate with the US Marketing leadership team to develop 1- and 3-year strategic plans, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Provide business modeling expertise and data-driven insights to inform marketing investment decisions and ROI.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Analytics teams to develop and monitor key performance indicators to drive decision-making and align with financial goals.
- Build and maintain financial models to analyze complex business scenarios and influence go-to-market strategies.
- Prepare financial reporting packages, offering transparency into business performance and key drivers.
- Partner with the Accounting team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions and deliver accurate reporting.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, streamlining and automating reporting and operational processes for greater efficiency.
Requirements
- 10 years of finance experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Experience in FP&A, management consulting, investment banking, or similar finance functions within the tech or software industry.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive business outcomes.
- SaaS/Cloud Computing experience is a plus; MBA is preferred
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $200K - $225K per year.
