

Technical Product Owner – Azure Platform & Data Integration POST NUMBER: 456543
Position Overview
The Senior Technical Product Owner will serve as the subject matter expert guiding the design, governance, and delivery of the organization’s evolving Azure environment. This role centers on shaping how the enterprise leverages Azure services, API ecosystems, and ETL/ELT pipelines; ensuring standardization, reusability, and long-term scalability.
Additional responsibilities include embedding governance and architectural best-practices across Fabric design, data models, and integration workflows while driving Agile execution in partnership with engineering, DevOps, strategic partners, and business stakeholders.
This position requires both technical fluency and strategic direction to articulate design decisions, enforce consistency, and enable enterprise-grade outcomes through disciplined use of Azure capabilities. Industry specific exposure to the insurance or claims industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define standards and governance for Azure-native services including Azure SQL, Data Factory, Logic Apps, Fabric, Functions, and App Services.
- Provide direction on cloud utilization, cost optimization, and service selection to maximize platform efficiency.
- Lead the design and governance of ETL/ELT pipelines that power case identification, business logic, and downstream analytics.
- Establish best practices for data lineage, schema evolution, and integration across distributed datasets.
- Oversee lifecycle management of RESTful APIs supporting integrations with third-party systems, vendors, and client partners.
- Embed resiliency, monitoring, and retry logic to ensure high-availability across integrations.
- Direct Fabric design patterns for reusability, standardization, and scalability across workflows.
- Collaborate with architects to maintain data governance, metadata management, and compliance with enterprise cataloging.
- Own and prioritize the technical product backlog, balancing roadmap goals with architecture dependencies within an Agile environment.
- Oversee sprint ceremonies (planning, grooming, sequencing) to align delivery with defined standards and business objectives.
- Define technical QA criteria including data quality thresholds, schema validations, and recovery accuracy.
- Partner with Security resources to assess and mitigate risks introduced by infrastructure changes or integrations.
- Translate complex Azure and data workflows into clear documentation and visuals for business stakeholder adoption.
- Deliver technical briefs, impact analyses, and readiness materials for executive leadership and client-facing teams.

- Target Compensation Range: $75 - $85 per hour based on skills and experience
