This is a vital role requiring extensive employee relations experience supporting their 4500 multi-state, multi-site employees.
The ideal candidate will have healthcare and/or veterinary care industry experience and be able to travel to their corporate offices 1-2 times per year (located in the northeast).
Duties:
- Provide guidance and coaching on HR-related matters including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and engagement.
- Build strong working relationships with regional operations leaders and Central Support employees.
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent acquisition strategies in collaboration with recruiting partners.
- Lead and support investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes while maintaining a fair and consistent approach.
- Monitor HR metrics (turnover, engagement, retention) and use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead and support the implementation of HR policies, programs, and systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across assigned region.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required); HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a multi-site HRBP or regional HR role.
- Experience working in healthcare, veterinary medicine, or other clinical environments strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to build relationships with leaders and employees at all levels.

Salary: $100-$110k salary bonus opportunity
