On behalf of a client in the medical industry, Vaco is seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable fully remote Accounting Contractor to join our client's Finance team. In this role, you’ll support both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, along with weekly expense report processing.

This is a fully remote opportunity with flexible scheduling, and it’s an excellent fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Accounts Payable (AP):

    • Process and code a high volume of invoices weekly.

    • Match invoices to the correct sites and investigate discrepancies.

    • Assist with payment selections.

  • Accounts Receivable (AR):

    • Monitor aged receivables and follow up via email with clients and internal operations.

    • Provide clear, professional written communication to resolve outstanding items.

  • Expense Reports:

    • Review and process employee expense reports once per week (primarily on Mondays).

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong written communication and follow-up skills.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy with data entry/coding.

  • Coachable, adaptable, and eager to learn new systems.

  • Experience with high-volume AP required; exposure to AR or bookkeeping a plus.

  • Proficiency in Excel; NetSuite experience is a plus (but not required).

Schedule & Compensation

  • Fully remote role; must be available on Mondays.

  • Flexible hours across EST, MST, or PST.
