

Project Manager – Product Recall POST NUMBER: 457227
Location: Oakland Park, FL
Contract Length: 6–12 Months
Compensation: BOE $30-$70/hour BOE
About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Project Manager with a strong Quality background to lead a high-visibility product recall project for a manufacturing company. This is not a role where you will simply delegate work — you will be in the thick of it, managing the process from start to finish.
The company experienced a significant recall and needs a proactive professional who can manage the full scope of the project, gather data, coordinate with internal teams, and communicate with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute all phases of the recall process (no delegation – this is fully hands-on).
- Collect and analyze data related to affected products, including reviewing manufacturing records, order history, and shipment information.
- Coordinate quarantine of any remaining product (already in progress).
- Communicate directly with customers regarding the recall, timelines, and next steps.
- Track and document progress to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with quality, operations, and leadership teams to prevent future quality issues.
- Develop reports, metrics, and updates for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing product recalls from start to finish in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong quality background with understanding of manufacturing processes and compliance requirements.
- Excellent data collection, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills for both internal teams and external customers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where details matter.
