Senior Director of Data Services
Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Senior Director of Data Services to lead our Business Intelligence (BI), Data Warehousing, and integration platform (iPaaS)initiatives. This leader will be responsible for architecting and delivering a modern, scalable, and insight-driven data ecosystem to support executive decision-making,franchisee operations, restaurant performance, and corporate analytics. You will oversee the full data lifecycle—from ingestion and integration to visualization—leveragingMicrosoft technologies including SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Power BI, and modern iPaaS platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or Azure Logic Apps.
Key Responsibilities:
Data & Analytics Leadership

Define and execute the vision and roadmap for enterprise data services, reporting, and analytics across FAT Brands' corporate and franchise operations.

Lead the design and maintenance of a centralized data warehouse and data lake architecture built on Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, Azure Synapse, or equivalent).

Partner with business units (Finance, Ops, Marketing, Supply Chain) to deliver impactful Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
Integration Strategy (iPaaS)

Oversee the evaluation, deployment, and ongoing support of integration platforms (iPaaS) to connect disparate systems across the franchise network.

Lead data integration projects between POS systems, financial systems (ERP), HR platforms, CRM, and vendor APIs.
Team & Project Leadership

Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, BI developers, and integration specialists.

Promote agile, iterative development practices and lead cross-functional data projects from concept to delivery.

Maintain best practices for source control, deployment automation, testing, and documentation.
Franchise & Restaurant Data Enablement

Deliver data solutions that support franchisee and restaurant-level analytics (sales, labor, food costs, customer engagement).

Collaborate with operations leaders to surface key performance metrics and predictive insights through Power BI.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

10 years of experience in enterprise data and analytics roles.

5 years in a senior leadership or director-level position overseeing BI and data warehousing.

Deep experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Data Services, and Power BI.

Demonstrated experience implementing and managing iPaaS platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, SnapLogic).
