

HR Coordinator (8-week) POST NUMBER: 457811
- Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
- Assist with the full recruitment cycle: job description development and advertisement, posting and advertisement, screening of candidates, scheduling and participating interviews with interview panels, interview question preparation, employment offer letter drafting, reference and vulnerable sector checks.
- Lead the onboarding efforts of all new staff.
- Research and develops human resources policies that reflect best practices in the sector and is aligned with legislation.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
- Coordinate critical mandatory quarterly and ad hoc training sessions and seminars.
- Develop human resources performance measures and ensures their accurate reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Support employee engagement activities and events and coordinates with the company’s event planner and management team: townhalls, staff recognition awards, staff appreciation events.
- Support the development, implementation and maintenance of the Equity Diversity and Inclusion Strategy that is aligned with the Strategic Plan.
- Support efforts of creating an AR/AO and ABR workplace culture.
- Support administrative functions related to the benefits program.
- Prepare and update organizational policies for rollout.
- Support labour relations activities including queries from unionized staff, interpretation of the Collective Agreement, support collective bargaining.
- Support business continuity efforts and planning.

Pay Range:
$24 to $28 an hour.
