

Senior Financial Analyst POST NUMBER: 458276
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the finance team through full cycle accounting, preparation of manual financial reports, and execution of month-end close activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel abilities, and comfort working in a manual environment. The position involves calculating sales commissions, cost of goods sold (COGS), and intercompany revenue while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
About the Opportunity
- Manage full cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
- Prepare and maintain manual financial reports using Excel, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
- Calculate and record sales commissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and analyze cost of goods sold (COGS) to support profitability reporting and financial performance reviews.
- Record and reconcile intercompany revenue transactions, ensuring proper eliminations and compliance with accounting standards.
- Consolidate and analyze large volumes of financial data in Excel to provide insights for management decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Identify process inefficiencies in a manual environment and recommend improvements.
- Support external and internal audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
About You
- CPA designation (or working towards designation) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of full cycle accounting and month-end close.
- Proven experience calculating sales commissions, COGS, and intercompany revenue.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, large data analysis).
- Experience working in a manual accounting/reporting environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Pay Rate
$40 / Hour
