About the Opportunity
- Lead month-end close and reporting activities with accuracy and timeliness.
- Deliver high-quality analytical reports and ad hoc financial analyses to support country-level decisions.
- Support financial modeling for forecasts, budgets, and scenario planning.
- Drive continuous process improvements, focusing on automation and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and validate financial results, KPIs, and business commentary.
- Perform account and cost center reconciliations, variance analysis, and reviews.
- Assist in planning and executing financial campaigns (forecasting, budgeting, cost actions).
- Collaborate with reporting system owners to ensure proper account mapping and US GAAP compliance.
- Leverage advanced reporting tools and automation techniques to enhance reporting and planning.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP).
- Promote a culture of safety and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
About You
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with SAP Tagetik, SAP ECC, and SAP Analytics Cloud is an asset.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and public company reporting preferred.
- Industry experience in manufacturing or construction is an asset.
- Strong systems knowledge, including Power BI and advanced Excel/Access skills.
- Expertise in dashboard creation and financial modeling for automation.
- Proven ability in financial and business analysis.
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Highly organized, able to multitask, and work independently.
- Strong business acumen and analytical mindset.
$45 / Hour
