- Prepare the consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Conduct month-end and year-end close processes with finance team.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide comprehensive financial analysis and strategic recommendations to support informed decision-making and business planning.
- Analyze financial statements, forecasts, and budgets to provide actionable insights to drive business growth.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Streamline accounting functions and operations.
- Ensure compliance company-wide financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to support operational excellence.
- Refine financial systems and workflows to support scalability.
- Support cost management strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Oversee the Accounts Receivable function to ensure timely collection of customer payments.
- Prepare Corporate tax and Trust returns.
- Support transfer pricing for compliance with tax regulations.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Collaborate or lead any Canada Revenue Agency or tax authority related audit.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Prepare financial memos for complex accounting transactions under IFRS, including year-end working papers.
- CPA OR CA
- 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong managerial or controllership level experience (oversee AR, AP, internal reporting, month end, full cycle).
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
Salary Range
$125,000 - $135,000/year
