As an Application Support Engineer, you will collaborate with both customers and internal business units to bring our clients configure and deploy our client's product lines successfully. You will work with customers to gather requirements and understand the business workflow and technical requirements.

You will provide guidance and training to the customer and will work closely with the project manager to ensure the clients' software is installed and configured according to contractual statement of work guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide resolutions to complex problems with in-depth technical support for customers, documenting thoroughly and communicating clearly with the customer and team
  • Balance competing priorities and deliverables efficiently and effectively
  • Continually develop product expertise by reviewing new functionality, testing new products, and utilizing company resources
  • Maintain positive, professional relationships with both customers and teammates
  • Ability to learn independently and through training
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary

Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years experience of C#/VB.NET development with a good knowledge of .NET Framework
  • Experience with Visual Studio and TFS
  • 3 or more years experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures and functions
  • Basic understanding of SQL database management
  • 1-2 years experience in customer service and/or technical support
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers on technical and business issues
  • Knowledge of systems hardware, software and network environments
  • Programming experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) is a plus
  • Web programming experience in MVC/ASP.NET/Javascript is a plus
  • IIS knowledge is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (required)
