Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and apply knowledge of US GAAP and possibly SEC reporting requirements.
  • Lead month and quarter-end close process and activities
  • Manage the year-end audit and ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Assist in development and implementation of accounting controls and procedures.
  • Analyze existing processes and recommend/initiate process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Manage billing & accounts receivable, accounts payable & procurement and payroll.
  • Train and lead direct reports.
  • Work with the Corporate Controller and external tax advisors to ensure appropriate tax compliance.
  • Lead the team in optimization/implementation of the ERP system.
  • Support the FP&A team with budget and forecasting activities.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree with a major or emphasis in Accounting or related field
  • CPA license preferred
  • At least 7-10 years of relevant public and private company experience
  • Audit experience with a Big 4 or national mid-tier accounting firm preferred
  • Progressive management experience
  • US GAAP and internal controls expertise
  • Prior experience working with large ERP and database systems.
