ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

Vaco Cincinnati is now working with an established and dynamic manufacturing company in its search for an Assistant Controller.

This business partner role will work alongside the Controller and be responsible for financial reporting, cost accounting, variance analysis, audit support, driving cost reduction initiatives, ad hoc analysis and budgeting/forecasting. This role has the opportunity to work closely with Operations to drive performance and enhance work processes.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 4-6+ years of relevant manufacturing accounting and finance experience
• Cost accounting experience
• Experience working with large ERP systems
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Very strong Excel skills for diverse reporting and analytics
• Proven ability to build relationships with operations and help drive business performance
• Superior communication skills, including ability to present data before diverse audiences
• History of job stability required for consideration
